Shipping, Returns & Refunds

We currently ship within the United States.

Shipping

We offer $6.95 flat rate U.S. shipping on all domestic orders.

Orders of $125 or more qualify for free U.S. shipping.

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. We generally fulfill and ship orders once per week, so some orders may go out sooner while others may ship on our next scheduled shipping day.

Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Once your order has shipped, standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the carrier. Shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to update after the shipping label has been created.

During busy periods, holidays, severe weather, or carrier delays, processing and delivery times may take longer than expected. If there is a significant delay with your order, we will do our best to reach out using the email address provided at checkout.

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. Yamuna Designs is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, additional shipping charges may apply before the package can be resent.

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, Yamuna Designs is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us and we will do our best to help you locate it.

If an item is marked as preorder or made to order, the estimated shipping timeline will be noted on the product page. If your order includes both in-stock and preorder items, your order may ship once all items are ready unless otherwise stated.

Returns

We want you to feel good about your order from Yamuna Designs.

If you would like to request a return, please contact us within 14 days of delivery through our Contact page.

To be eligible for return, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

Because many Yamuna Designs pieces are made in limited runs, sale items, one-of-a-kind pieces, and items marked final sale are not eligible for return.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error with the order.

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can review the issue.

Please note that many Yamuna Designs pieces are made from vintage Kantha and upcycled sari textiles. Because these fabrics are reclaimed, hand-worked, and one of a kind, slight variation in print placement, tone, stitching, patched areas, small mends, faint marks, or other gentle signs of age may be present. These are part of the textile’s character and history and are not considered defects.

Please note that some Yamuna Designs cotton pieces are hand-dyed in small batches. Because of the handmade dye process, slight variation in tone, saturation, wash, or print placement may occur from piece to piece, and colors may appear slightly different from our swatches or from what you see on screen. We always aim to keep each batch as close as possible to the intended colorway, but these subtle variations are part of the character of the garment and are not considered defects.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund. If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account.
